Department: Therapeutic Recreation
Summary: Operates a motor vehicle to perform various duties involving the transportation of Residents, Mozaic Senior Life
Reports To: Facilities Supervisor, Director of Resident Life
Hours: Per Diem
Essential Responsibilities:
- Transport Residents to special events and other locations as directed.
- Follow safety regulations of the vehicle, including loading and unloading Residents in wheelchairs.
- Refine vehicle after each trip for future use.
- Detect faulty operation of motor vehicle and notify supervisor of need for service.
- Observe traffic laws; follow safety regulations.
- Maintain vehicle and work areas in a clean and orderly condition.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred
Experience: 1-2 years of related experience
Licensure: Connecticut CDL license - required
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Ability to handle multiple demands and deadlines; Ability to read and communicate effectively.
