Mozaic (A Chapter of The Arc NY) looking for Caregivers, Health Aides, CNAs, or Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to work with individuals with disabilities and help them achieve their goals! These caregivers promote positive self-esteem of individuals in a home setting or in the community through consistent positive interactions, support, encouragement, and unconditional respect of individuals' rights. We have full-time and relief positions available!
Direct Support Professionals (DSP) Residential Shifts Available :
Evening : 3 PM to 11 PM (times can fluctuate)
Overnight : 11 PM to 7 AM (times can fluctuate)

Pay Rate $17.00 - $19.00 / hr. based on experience and shift differentials!
Differential Pay includes evenings, overnights, and weekends
Direct Support Professionals (DSP) Duties :
Residential caregivers play a vital role in supporting individuals to maintain safe and healthy lifestyles within the community. They assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and household tasks while ensuring care plans, medications, and guidelines are followed accurately.
Caregivers work closely with families, healthcare professionals, and case managers to promote the well-being and quality of life of individuals with disabilities. They also provide emotional support, encouragement, and advocacy to empower residents and uphold their rights and needs.
Direct Support Professionals (DSP) Qualifications :
A high school diploma or GED and a valid NYS driver's license are required for this role, with experience in developmental disabilities being highly valued. Prior experience as a CNA, health aide, caregiver, or direct support professional (DSP) is also a plus.
