PHYSICAL THERAPIST - FEE FOR SERVICE CONTRACT
Mozaic (A Chapter of The Arc NY) is looking for a Fee-for-Service Physical Therapist to provide physical therapy services to improve or limit a disabling condition through the provision of professional therapies. Services are provided to persons who require such services to remain in or move to the least restrictive environment or because such services are unavailable or inaccessible in the person's community.
PAY RANGE: $50-$100/hour - Fee for service contract
LOCATION: Seneca, Cayuga or Yates County
PHYSICAL THERAPIST DUTIES
This role focuses on delivering comprehensive physical therapy services to support individuals in maintaining their independence and overall well-being. By providing targeted treatment and specialized training, you will help individuals improve motor skills, strength, coordination, and daily living activities while also working to prevent further disabilities. Through therapy and the use of adaptive equipment, you will promote heart and lung health, ensuring a holistic approach to care. Following specific written medical prescriptions, you will administer direct physical therapy services tailored to each individual's unique needs. Beyond treatment, your work will enhance the effectiveness of interventions, enabling individuals to remain in their family or placement setting for as long as they desire. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to improving each person's quality of life, fostering greater independence, confidence, and overall well-being.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Licensed and currently registered as a Physical Therapist by the NYS Education Department. Experience with developmentally disabled preferred. Experience working with pediatrics is required.
