Pizza Delivery Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting and manual transmission vehicles. The Delivery Driver will play a crucial role in maintaining our commitment to customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload delivery vehicles efficiently and safely.
• Operate commercial vehicles, including box trucks and vans, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Navigate assigned routes effectively, ensuring timely deliveries to customers.
• Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients at delivery locations.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability.
• Handle heavy lifting as required, ensuring all items are secured properly during transport.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any necessary paperwork.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience in route driving or courier services preferred.
• Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Experience with forklift operation is advantageous but not required.
• Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the day.
• Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
• Must be able to pass background checks as required by company policy.
