Bakery Clerk

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Bakery Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and customer satisfaction, with experience in culinary tasks and food preparation. As a Bakery Clerk, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional service to our customers while ensuring the bakery operates smoothly.

Duties

• Assist customers with their selections, providing knowledgeable recommendations on bakery products.
• Operate cash registers, process transactions accurately, and handle cash and credit card payments.
• Prepare and display baked goods, ensuring they are presented attractively and meet quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery area, including equipment and utensils.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during peak hours.
• Monitor inventory levels of baked goods and supplies, communicating needs to management.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries
• Follow food safety regulations and maintain proper hygiene practices at all times.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a quick service fast food restaurant or similar food service environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with cash register operations and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
• Culinary skills or experience in food preparation is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
• Experience using a point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Must be a team player who is willing to help others when needed.
• 3pm to 8pm
