What are the responsibilities and job description for the Immuno-Diagnostics Lab Technician position at Mp Biomedicals?
The Technician (Technical Manufacturing) performs a wide variety of routine production tasks in Technical Manufacturing and must be capable of producing large-scale components for products. Must be capable of following work instructions and finish assigned tasks on time. About 10% of travel is required for customer training and instrument PM/repairment.
Responsibilities:
- Assumes responsibility for bulk manufacturing, testing, documentation, analytical procedures, and product flow to produce RIA(5%) and life science (95%) products in strict adherence to regulations covering Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Clean room manufacturing, testing, documentation in strict adherence to regulations covering Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Performs at a standard that allows for minimum errors.
- About 10% of travel is required for customer care and instrument PM/repairment.
- Compiles, revises, and updates Log Sheets.
- Performs routine tasks required to maintain departmental compliance with ISO9001 and ISO13485.
- Works within all safety guidelines and rules designated by department, Company, and corporate policies.
- Maintains manufacturing areas in accordance with housekeeping and safety rules.
Accountability:
- Accuracy of testing and manufacturing records.
- Compliance with appropriate manufacturing, testing and investigation tasks according to agreed schedules.
- Completion of assigned manufacturing, testing and investigation tasks according to agreed schedules.
- Conformance to specification of assigned manufactured products.
- Adheres to documented procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor diploma and above
- Specify in Chemicals, Biochemicals, Biology and/or Molecular Biology area.
- 1-3 years related working experience preferred. Experience in immunoassay manufacturing preferred.
- Organized and initiative-taking.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong scenes of responsibility
- Accurate and meticulous
- Strong computer skills – Microsoft Office products
