What are the responsibilities and job description for the Industrial Maintenance Technician position at MP Engineering?
What's the Job?
- Perform building operations, preventive maintenance, and basic equipment repairs on Central Utility Plant equipment such as boilers, chillers, and air compressors.
- Respond to calls from site business units, documenting issues clearly and professionally.
- Work with Maintenance and Operations teams to dispatch response teams effectively.
- Conduct basic repairs and installations of piping systems including welding and soldering.
- Inspect major site systems, perform troubleshooting, and implement corrective actions.
What's Needed?
- Experience with maintenance of boilers, chillers, and HVAC systems.
- Knowledge of building automation and corrective maintenance procedures.
- Ability to work in confined spaces and perform underground vault work.
- Strong communication skills in English (speak, read, write).
- Physical ability to meet job requirements, including passing physical and audiometric examinations.
