Touch up Operator

As a Touch Up/Rework Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting quality assurance and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a collaborative spirit which will align successfully in the organization. We are looking for and Operator that can perform, diagnose and interpret job instructions NOT maintaining and troubleshooting.

What's the Job?

• Perform hand solder and touch-up rework for SMT and through-hole components, including BGA and ICs, adhering to IPC-A-610 standards.
• Execute rework based on ECO, process deviations, and MPI instructions using appropriate solder and flux types.
• Install and hand solder all second operation and SMT parts as required per MPI and deviation processes.
• Demonstrate flexibility to work on all SMT and/or through-hole components as needed.
• Maintain a safe working environment by understanding ESD, board handling, and safety practices.

What's Needed?

• 1-2 years of practical manufacturing experience in a similar role.
• Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, specifications, BOM, and process instructions.
• Experience working on medical devices (implants, surgical equipment) or defense (aerospace) products.
• Capability to lift materials and equipment weighing between 15 – 50 lbs.
• Good written and verbal communication skills and a positive team-oriented attitude.
