Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid position for Construction Inspectors and Resident Engineers in New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania. The role involves overseeing highway and roadway construction and maintenance projects, conducting site inspections, ensuring quality control, and managing project execution.
Key responsibilities include asphalt inspections, structural steel and concrete assessment, milling and paving oversight, and stormwater / drainage system evaluation. These positions are highway-focused and require a minimum of five years of roadway construction and inspection experience.
Qualified candidates should have expertise in highway infrastructure construction, including but not limited to structural steel, structural concrete, asphalt, milling, paving, and stormwater management.
Qualifications
- NICET and / or NETTCP, depending on jurisdiction
- TCC and / or ATSSA, depending on jurisdiction
- ASI or equivalent
- NJ SAT or equivalent
- Materials inspections
- Site Inspections and Quality Control skills
- Experience in Inspection and Asphalt
- Construction Management abilities
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations
