WHAT YOU WILL DO:
The Maintenance Technician will support the coffee roasting and packaging operations through troubleshooting and repair of industrial processing & packaging equipment to ensure maximum efficiency, effectiveness and reliability of equipment.
KEY RESPONSBILITIES:
- Troubleshoot and repair issues with equipment and facilities
- Perform preventative, predictive and routine maintenance tasks
- Complete equipment component rebuilds as needed
- Ensure maximum equipment efficiency, effectiveness and reliability
- Track and maintain work orders and spare parts in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
- Assist in maintaining optimum inventory levels of critical equipment and tools
- Assists, as directed, in the operation and maintenance of mechanical systems • Performs additional related duties as assigned
- Assist in the installation of new production equipment, as required.
WHAT YOU NEED:
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to work 3rd shift (11 pm - 7:30 am)
- Pneumatic experience
- Building and Grounds experience
- Electrical control experience preferred
- Food manufacturing and GMP experience preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift 75 pounds
- Ability to carry 50 pounds
- Ability to withstand temperatures of up to 100 degrees
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- Onsite: Lafayette, IN, Sunday - Thursday (3rd shift)
- Compensation: $27-$28/ hour
- Nonexempt / full-time
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.00 - $28.00 per hour
