Summary of Position:
The Aerial Lineman for the construction and maintenance of coax and fiber optic communications cabling.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set poles and place anchors
- Transfer phone lines
- Lash and over lash cable
- Read construction prints
Essential Education and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 months' verifiable experience
- Class A Driver’s License (CDL) or willing to obtain
- Good understanding of construction
Physical Demands:
- Work in all weather conditions
- A lot of manual labor
- Climbing poles
- Lift up to 80 pounds
Pay Scale - $23 - $35
