What are the responsibilities and job description for the DIGITAL DATA ENTRY SPECIALIST position at MP RPO?
The Digital Data Entry Specialist will be inputting and clarifying prescriptions for a variety of orthodontic appliances. As you gain tenure you are required to learn about basic oral structure, tooth anatomy, tooth numbering systems and a wide variety of basic orthodontic appliances, with many minor variations, and their functions.
Responsibilities :
- Acknowledge, prepare, and process orthodontic appliance prescriptions
- Consolidate date to ensure smooth and on-time deliveries to customers
- Input patient data from doctors' prescriptions for orthodontic models or appliance
- Update cases with changes and comments from offices
- Ability to multitask and cross train when needed in other areas
- Act as a liaison between supervisors, techs and other individuals / departments within the organization to help ensure accuracy
- Learn when to ask for assistance and when to independently make decisions
- Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Look at a computer screen for several hours at a time
- Importing digital scans to the Rx
- Calling offices to request clarification on cases as needed
