JOB SUMMARY: Relationship Manager
The Relationship Manager is responsible for building and sustaining strong connections with Plan Sponsors and Participants. They offer tailored guidance on plan design, investment choices, participant education, and overall plan administration, ensuring regulatory compliance while striving to optimize clients' retirement savings. Serving as the primary Plan Contact, they address all Plan related needs for clients.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Relationship Manager
- Taking ownership for the on-going retention and success of a book of clients
- The EXTERNAL focus of this position is ensuring a positive, service-oriented experience
- The INTERNAL focus of this position is ensuring asset retention and growth
- Working between the internal "Compliance Team" and the "Implementation Team" to meet client expectations
- Assist with day-to-day questions (responding to calls/emails) that require Investment discussions or problem escalation
- Weekly meeting with Consulting Director on Client
- Provide Investment Advisory support to Participants and Plan Sponsors
- Delivery of Annual Cycle communications (Fiduciary File/Projections, Annual Compliance Testing, and Form 5500).
- Communicates with Clients and internal Plan Administrator Consultants on Plan objectives, involved with escalated issues and assisting with solutions
- Set timeline for delivering solutions/results to Clients
- Ensuring projects are completed and communicated to clients timely
- Providing virtual and/or onsite employee education meetings/seminars
- Schedule / Build / Lead Globally available webinars for Participants AND Plan Sponsors
- Run Targeted SmartPlan Email Campaigns to drive deferral/participation growth/rollovers
- Provide benchmarking/proposal generation support to sales (ONLY AS NEEDED)
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Relationship Manager
- Experience: 5 years of experience with qualified retirement plan management experience including 401(k), Profit Sharing, Cross-Tested, Safe Harbor, Cash Balance/Defined Benefit, Combo plans, 403(b), MEPs/PEPs, etc.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of work experience
- Knowledge/Skills: Excellent verbal and communication skills, excellent organization skills and attention to detail, Ability to resolve issues for Retirement Services Clients, and service oriented.
- Certifications/Designations: FINRA 65 License or ability to obtain within 4 months of accepting position. Series 7 66 licenses will work in lieu of the Series 65.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- Location: While this position is a remote role, we do expect the ability to travel to client meetings. Travel will be based on client demand and we are anticipating 5-10 trips per year.
- Compensation Expectations: $80k - $100k (based on experience) up to a 10% Annual Performance Based Bonus.
