JOB SUMMARY : Triage Technician
Triage Technician will be responsible for triaging incoming patient phone calls to determine necessity for medical appointments, prescription refills, and discussing test results. Also gathers all necessary and pertinent information regarding medical problems and symptoms to discuss with the physician. Ensures all necessary calls and messages are handled in an expedient manner. Will operate with compassion, excellent customer service, and efficiently to ensure patients are receiving quality care.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES : Triage Technician
- Triage all incoming patient phone calls, emails, and fax regarding scheduling, appointments, prescription refills, patient questions and more.
- Gather all necessary patient information and relay to physician.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients while assisting staff and physicians.
- Triage urgent calls and documentation for patient appointments, questions or inquiries.
