MP Systems, Inc. is hiring a Quality Control Specialist to support transmission line and substation projects in Wisconsin.
As part of the on-site project management team with a focus on quality, this specialist will inspect projects within customer territory at the direction of Supervisor(s) and Manager to ensure compliance with project engineering plans and permits.

This position requires a self-motivated individual with a passion for hands-on work in outdoor environments. Must have a desire to work in a team-based environment and contribute immediately. High school education and two or four-year degree required. Preferred degree in construction management, engineering, environmental, project management, and/or safety. Individual must be able to work independently, be flexible with daily work hours (including occasional early mornings), work on multiple jobs simultaneously, and fulfill all job requirements within a timely fashion.

Responsibilities:
- Inspect projects within customer territory to ensure compliance with project engineering plans and permits.
- Attend project related meetings such as pre-construction walk throughs, safety, outage planning with internal crews, subcontractor crews, and clients.
- Assist with daily job reporting, field verification, job books, document control, and QA/QC documentation.
- Update and track key performance metrics that optimize performance and productivity to reduce costs.
- Catalog, update, and maintain project drawings to include as-builts in preparing turnover package to client.
- Utilize mobile GIS programs for mapping features and logging inspection points.
- Complete Sag Validation Audits and Documentation to confirm installation to specification.
- Complete inspection reports and communicate action items to project team.
- Assist with subcontractor orientation, operations, and audits.
