DSP (Direct Support Professional)- Home Supervisor

Position Details: We are hiring for 3 new members to join our team!

• Home Supervisor: Will work 35-40 hours/week, with on-call responsibilities as the supervisor. Typical shifts will be from (3:00pm-10:00pm), and rotating weekend shifts from 8:00am-10:00pm)
• No Behavioral Challenges
• Low Client Ratio- 2 fun and friendly clients in a beautiful home!

Responsibilities:

• Team Management: Manage the staff in the home to ensure smooth operations of care.
• Daily Support: Assist clients with ADLs (personal care, meals, medication, and mobility).
• Encourage Independence: Facilitate community activities, life skills development, and personal goal achievement.
• Health and Safety: Monitor client well-being, maintain a safe environment, and follow individualized service plans (ISP).
• Documentation: Accurately document services, progress, and any incidents per agency/state guidelines.
• Build Relationships: Establish positive, supportive relationships with clients, families, and team members.
• Promote Dignity and Respect: Advocate for client rights and ensure a respectful environment in all interactions.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED (required)
• Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass background checks
• Compassion, patience, and strong communication skills
• Three years of experience in developmental disabilities or caregiving required
