Job Description:
We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Manager to join our Accounting team. As a key member of the Eau Palm Beach team, you will play an essential role in delivering exceptional service to our guests, upholding the standards of our Forbes Five-Star resort. This Manager will be responsible for maintaining ledgers and records of hotel receivables, posting payments, generating group billing, responding to guest inquiries and chargebacks, in accordance with hotel standards. The ideal candidate will reconcile daily statements and month-end balancing of receivables, while exemplifying the values and culture of Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa.
This position is a Monday - Friday role. We have a full-time position available.
Essential Qualifications:
- High school graduate.
- Minimum 2-year(s) Accounting experience.
- Experience with computers, calculators or word processors.
- Ability to communicate in English with guests/visitors/vendors and hotel staff to their understanding.
- Ability to provide legible written and oral communication.
- Ability to compute mathematical calculations.
- Knowledge and experience utilizing OPERA Cloud (desired)
- High-volume Accounts Receivable experience (desired)
Essential Skills:
- Ability to input and access information into the property management system. Opera Cloud
- Ability to maintain concentration and think clearly.
- Ability to focus on details and resolve numerical problems.
- Ability to prioritize, organize and follow up.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of pertinent hotel data.
- Ability to promote positive relations with hotel guests and staff alike.
- Ability to provide clear and pleasant telephone communication.
- Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision.
- Ability to remain stationary at assigned post for extended periods.
- Ability to work cohesively with other departments and co-workers as part of a team.
- Ability to problem solve with effective resolutions
- Ability to multi-task.
