We are seeking a full-time Barback to join our team at Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa. As a key member of our team, you will play an essential role in providing exceptional service to our guests, upholding the standards of our Forbes Five-Star resort.

Job Description :

The Barback is responsible for completing tasks related to stocking, replenishing, cleaning, maintenance, and preparation of beverages under the guidance of the Bartender such as stocking the bar or bars with alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, assisting in prepping garnishes, purees, syrups, and more for daily operations, polishing glassware, maintaining full knowledge of Nobu Menu and products and following safety sanitation rules and practices.

Essential Responsibilities :

Provide friendly, gracious, motivated, detail-oriented, and responsive service to create a memorable dining experience for customers.

Ensure compliance with all State and local alcohol ordinances and the implementation of those ordinances.

Cleans and maintains bar areas, before, during, and after service.

Maintain cleanliness of liquor rooms, beer coolers, and bars including sweeping, mopping, taking out the trash, etc.

Attendance in mandatory meetings, training, workshops, and / or seminars

bar cleanings, and bar meetings

Follows safety sanitation rules and practices by health code standards.

Learn and maintain knowledge of all floor plans and table numbers.

Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor / manager.

Essential Qualifications :

Minimum 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages.

1 year of barback experience

Food Handling Certificate and ServSafe within three (3) months of employment

Ability to communicate in English to the understanding of hoteliers, Management, co-workers, and guests.

Ability to do basic mathematical calculations.

Must be able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours.

Must be able to move, pull, carry, or lift at least 45 pounds.

Occasionally kneel, bend, crouch, and climb as required.

Ability to work calmly, quickly, and effectively under pressure.

Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and be detail-oriented.
