We are seeking a full-time Restaurant General Manager to join our team at Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa. As a key member of our team, you will play an essential role in providing exceptional service to our guests, upholding the standards of our Forbes Five-Star resort.
Job Description :
The Restaurant General Manager is responsible for leading and collaborating with the food and beverage / culinary management team and hotel staff to ensure the successful operation of a three-meal restaurant. This role focuses on driving guest and hotelier satisfaction while maximizing financial performance in all areas of responsibility. The General Manager is a key ambassador for Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa's values and beliefs, ensuring a memorable and high-quality experience for guests and staff alike.
Your Focus :
Direct and oversee all restaurant operations for a three-meal restaurant, working closely with food and beverage management, culinary teams, and hotel staff to ensure excellence in service delivery.Continuously monitor and improve guest satisfaction, addressing concerns and feedback to enhance the overall dining experience.Maximize profitability through strategic financial management, including budgeting, cost control, and driving revenue growth.Implement and uphold operational standards, procedures, and policies to ensure smooth restaurant operations and compliance with health and safety regulations.Lead by example, promoting Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa’s values, beliefs, and commitment to excellence.Cultivate a positive work environment that fosters teamwork, staff development, and retention.Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless service, guest experience, and operational efficiency.Monitor and manage inventory, purchasing, and supply costs while maintaining high-quality standards for food, beverages, and guest services.Lead training programs to continually improve team performance and service quality.Prepare and analyze financial reports to identify opportunities for operational improvements and cost efficienciesFollow sustainability guidelines and practicesPractice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.Perform other duties as requested by management.Essential Qualifications :
Minimum of 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages.Minimum 3 years luxury management experience.Associates degree in hospitality, business or food and beverageFood handling certificate.Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding.Ability to provide legible communication.Prior experience in 4 / 5 diamond, 4 / 5 stars restaurantAbility to compute basic mathematical calculations.Essential Skills :
Ability to understand guests' service needs.Ability to prioritize and organize service requirements at all tables in assigned station.Ability to maintain concentration and think clearly when providing service to guests within any given period of time.Ability to suggestively sell restaurant menu items, beverages and wines.Ability to access and input information into P.O.S. system.Ability to direct timing and performance of Servers, Food Runners and Server Attendants in providing quality service to guests within assigned station.Ability to maintain good coordination while serving orders quickly.Ability to exert physical effort in transporting food and beverage guests.Ability to endure abundant physical movements throughout the work areas.Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision.Ability to work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.Basic wine knowledgeApply today and be part of something extraordinary!
