We are seeking a full-time Restaurant Manager to join our team at Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa. As a key member of our team, you will play an essential role in providing exceptional service to our guests, upholding the standards of our Forbes Five-Star resort.
Job Description :
The Restaurant Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing the daily operations of our three-meal restaurant. This role ensures the seamless delivery of high-quality food and beverage items and services, contributing to an exceptional guest experience. The manager will also be accountable for managing financial performance, optimizing operational efficiency, and fostering a positive and productive work environment aligned with the company’s core values.
Your Focus :
Interview, select, train, schedule, coach and support associates, ensuring they perform in accordance with established brand or hotel standards and consistent with HHM core values.Monitor product quality and guest satisfaction in food and beverage outlets, ensuring food quality is consistent, appealing, and prepared according to recipe and to guest specifications.Ensure the restaurant complies with sanitation and safety standards for guests and associates.Visually inspect and take action to ensure the appearance of facilities is appealing and attractive to guests.Effectively deal with internal and external customers with a high level of patience, tact and diplomacy.Ensure all equipment is in working order.Participate in marketing efforts of the restaurants as directed.Interact with guests to obtain feedback on quality of service and food in outlet.Document inventory, forecast usage and monitor supply so restaurants are adequately stocked with linen, glassware, silverware, china, condiments, in order to provide service.Abide by all regulations and requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages.Follow sustainability guidelines and practices Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.Perform other duties as requested by management.Essential Qualifications :
Minimum of 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages.Minimum 3 years luxury management experience.Associates degree in hospitality, business or food and beverageFood handling certificate.Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding.Ability to provide legible communication.Prior experience in 4 / 5 diamond, 4 / 5 stars restaurantAbility to compute basic mathematical calculations.Essential Skills :
Ability to understand guests' service needs.Ability to prioritize and organize service requirements at all tables in assigned station.Ability to maintain concentration and think clearly when providing service to guests within any given period of time.Ability to suggestively sell restaurant menu items, beverages and wines.Ability to access and input information into P.O.S. system.Ability to direct timing and performance of Servers, Food Runners and Server Attendants in providing quality service to guests within assigned station.Ability to maintain good coordination while serving orders quickly.Ability to exert physical effort in transporting food and beverage guests.Ability to endure abundant physical movements throughout the work areas.Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision.Ability to work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.Basic wine knowledgeApply today and be part of something extraordinary!
