Job Description:
We are looking for a meticulous and reliable Records Management Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the organization, storage, and retrieval of company records, both physical and digital. You will ensure that records are managed efficiently and securely, in accordance with company standards and legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize, classify, and maintain records in both physical and electronic formats.
- Retrieve documents and records as needed and ensure timely delivery to authorized personnel.
- Ensure compliance with all privacy laws and organizational policies regarding records management.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure the accuracy and completeness of records.
- Facilitate the secure disposal of outdated records following company procedures.
- Implement record retention schedules and policies effectively.
- Assist with training new employees on record-keeping procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal teams and external partners when retrieving or processing records.
Requirements:.
- Experience in records management or a related field is a plus.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Proficiency with record management software and office tools (Microsoft Office, Google Suite, etc.).
- Ability to manage physical records and move materials when necessary.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
