Level II:
Estimated annual base pay: $23.27 (minimum) - $29.09 (midpoint) - $34.91 (maximum)
Level III:
Estimated annual base pay: $26.62 (minimum) - $33.27 (midpoint) - $39.92 (maximum)

Are you ready to make your mark? If you are interested in becoming a Quality Assurance Technician at Woodward, we have an exciting opportunity for you! The position directs the activities of, and has responsibility for, subordinates in direct production and indirect support functions in an operations environment.
What you will be doing...
- Applies basic knowledge of quality concepts, including normal distributions and creating simple charts to track and help drive quality improvements
- Assist in evaluating non-conformances, causes and corrective action
- Reviews and approves finished product and associated data prior to shipment to the customer
- This includes reviewing test data, preparing certificates of conformance and providing any basic documentation required by the customer contract
- Participates in audit activities in a supporting role
- Audits may include: process audits, system surveys, physical configuration audits, functional configuration audits and product audits
- Retrieves traceability and configuration data in support of a product or customer audit/investigation
- Performs dimensional inspection using simple inspection and hand tools
- Coordinates routine customer source inspections
- Trains other quality inspectors in required in-process and customer inspections, including delegated customer source inspection activities
- Meets with customer representatives to facilitate customer acceptance of deliverable product and prepares associated documentation package for the customer
- Performs customer product acceptance tasks as a customer designated quality representative
What we are looking for...
Level II:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1-4 years related work experience
- Ability to read, interpret and use the information presented in drawings, diagrams and blueprints to determine appropriate activities, tools, and next steps in the production process
- Knowledge of handling materials and safety equipment/gear in accordance with MSDS requirements
- Ability to operate basic inspection equipment (e.g., microscope, functional gauges, plug gage, and micrometer)
- The ability to use computer and web-based systems to input, access, modify, or output information
- The ability to see details (e.g., letters, numbers, codes, color, symbols, marks, labels, signs) clearly to accomplish work tasks in a safe and efficient manner
Level III:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 5 years related work experience
- Ability to read, interpret and use the information presented in drawings, diagrams and blueprints to determine appropriate activities, tools, and next steps in the production process
- Knowledge of handling materials and safety equipment/gear in accordance with MSDS requirements
- Ability to operate basic inspection equipment (e.g., microscope, functional gauges, plug gage, and micrometer)
- The ability to use computer and web-based systems to input, access, modify, or output information
- The ability to see details (e.g., letters, numbers, codes, color, symbols, marks, labels, signs) clearly to accomplish work tasks in a safe and efficient manner
This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
