CMI, Inc. is a leading manufacturer of breath alcohol testing instruments in the U.S., Canada and around the world. CMI manufactures the Intoxilyzer® brand of evidential and preliminary breath alcohol testing instruments. CMI, Inc. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of MPD, Inc., also located in Owensboro, Kentucky. MPD, Inc. is 100% employee owned through an Employee Stock Ownership Plan, (ESOP).
The material handler will receive material, pack and deliver products to appropriate areas. In addition, needs ability to work all activities associated with inventory management, cycle count, work orders and sales orders. Working in a team environment with flexibility to assist others via own initiative, or supervisor request, to complete assignments.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Materials; pick up parts and verify the quantity, type, part number, or other designated index.
- Place materials in the proper areas by type, part number, or other designated index.
- Write and close jobs for production.
- Fulfill sales orders for production.
- Deliver finished parts to shipping.
- Post serial numbers for instruments
Qualifications
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- To be able to stand or walk for long periods, bend, and lift materials.
- Be able to pay close attention to detail when picking merchandise and monitoring inventory.
- Work well in a team.
