We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Assembly Team Member to join our team on first shift. This critical role is responsible for the final assembly operations of medical carts and enclosures to set quality and production standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the mechanical final assembly and/or subassembly operations of medical carts, enclosure and other simple builds using various manual and power tools.
- Depending on the products being assembled/built, employee may work on an assembly line within a team and/or work independently assembling the product.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings and understand standard and metric dimensions on drawings.
- Identify quality issues from previous stations
- Follow all safety efforts in the work center with the consistent demonstration of proper PPE and adherence to all safety regulations and requirements.
- Maintain a consistent 5S workplace through consistent housekeeping efforts.
Qualifications
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience and Training:
- Previous assembly experience preferred, previous manufacturing experience required
- Knowledge and use of hand tools and power tools
- Understanding of quality
- Ability to read an interpret mechanical drawings preferred
