We are seeking a dedicated Powdercoating Team Member to join our team. This critical role ensures that our products receive proper powercoating paint finishes to our quality and production standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Spraying paint powder onto parts with an even application
- Clean, operate, and maintain the powder guns
- Identifying correct powder color and type and understand oven temperatures for certain powders
- Hanging parts onto the paintline
- Masking areas that should not be painted
- Inspecting and unloading parts from the paintline
- Reading and understand blueprints
- Starting up and stopping the paintline and washer system
- Entering information into computers
- Using different powder coating spraying techniques based on part geometries
- Touching up lightly painted areas or using abrasives to sand defective parts
- Spraying powder onto complex part geometries such as inside boxes or faraday cage area
