Sales Engineer/Account Manager is a key position focused on expanding our market presence and selling our principal’s forgings, castings, machining services and sealed solutions. You will be responsible for client interactions, understanding technical requirements, communicate solutions, and closing sales. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical specifications and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in the metal forming industry.
- Understand client requirements and communicate technical needs.
- Present and demonstrate product features to clients.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key clients.
- Prepare and deliver sales proposals and quotes.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to customize solutions for clients.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and objectives.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in metal forming technologies.
General Duties:
- Sell products for the principals that we represent. Initial priority will be to pursue sales of forgings, castings and mechanical seals.
- Generate new business in your territory. Market through personal visits and online activity. Leads and substantial existing business will be provided. Access to databases and other services are available.
- Frequent customer and principal visits required to develop relationships and ensure long-term success. Travel is necessary. Company culture is to grow the business through personal visits and long-standing relationships.
- Provide complete service to principals. Besides the traditional sales function, we also perform account/project management. We do what needs to be done to satisfy the customer and principal.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field nice to have. Sales experience or business background needed.
- Proven experience in sales within the metal forming industry.
- Strong understanding of metal forming processes and technologies.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to travel as required for client meetings and industry events.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $125,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
