Job Summary:
This role involves general facilities maintenance, focusing on painting, light carpentry, and assisting with other maintenance duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general facilities work, including painting, light carpentry, and conference room setups.
- Assist with equipment and material moves within the building or to off-site storage.
- Support routine and non-routine maintenance of grounds, HVAC systems, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical systems.
- Provide backup support for the Shipping and Receiving department.
- Adhere to Environmental, Health, and Safety requirements and initiatives.
Qualifications:
Required:
- High school diploma or GED with a technical focus.
- Experience in facilities general maintenance, preventive maintenance, and repair.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word).
- Strong attention to detail and customer service skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Preferred:
- 5 years of experience as a maintenance technician in diverse facilities.
- Experience with infrastructure systems, maintenance scheduling, vendor interactions, and procurement.
- Knowledge of building codes and regulatory compliance.
- Fork truck license and OSHA 10 certification preferred.
