Our client, a boutique RIA managing over $800M in assets, is looking to add a Tax/Financial Planning Analyst to their team. With an in-house CPA team offering tax preparation services, they ensure a seamless, integrated approach to financial planning. Committed to a client-first philosophy, they operate with full transparency—no product sales, no commissions—just fee-only financial planning and asset management.
The Tax/Financial Planning Analyst will assist advisors to provide financial planning services to clients with the following responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze client tax estimates (federal, state, and trust) using tax planning software.
- Provide advisors with tax recommendations and strategic planning insights for clients.
- Develop client rebalance schedules and asset allocations using Excel.
- Input and interpret data from financial planning software to support client strategies.
- Generate and manage client billing invoices.
- Collect and analyze data for quarterly investment committee meetings.
- Assist with various analytical tasks and projects as needed.
- Support administrative functions as required.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience or more
- Experience with tax planning preferred
- Financial Planning experience identifying and developing customized comprehensive financial planning solutions. This is a thinking role not for someone that is just entering data.
- Proficient in Excel
- Self-starter
- Excellent writing, listening and oral communication skills
- Willingness to learn and develop continuous improvements in the role.
This role offers a competitive salary plus a 20% annual performance bonus.
