Job Description
Physician Assistants and Acute Care Nurse Practitioners with a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience, preferably in a Cardiac ICU, are required to provide locums coverage in our state-of-the-art 24-bed Cardiac Intensive Care Unit.
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Perform procedures: arterial lines, central venous lines, intubation, ventilator management.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Prescribe medications (DEA license required).
- Collaborate with healthcare teams and provide patient education and follow-up care.
Requirements:
- NC license is required.
- 7 months post-credentialing duration.
- Schedule: 14 twelve-hour shifts per 28 days.
- Primary need: Night shifts (7pm - 7am), with options for 3-4 nights per week or 7 consecutive nights.
- Weekend day shift opportunities available (7am - 7pm).
