- Shift Schedules: Days, Nights, and Swings available (6:00 am - 6:00 pm, 6:00 pm - 6:00 am, and 1:00 pm - 1:00 am)
- Clinical Expertise: Must have recent Pediatrics experience as a MD/APP (MD's, PA or NP)
- Professional Licenses: Active Maryland State license required, DEA/CSR also necessary
- Board Certification: Pediatrics certification preferred, Board eligibility accepted
Desirable Experience:
- Pediatrics Emergency Department (Peds ED) Experience: Minimum 1.5-2 years in an ED, pediatric inpatient, or urgent care acute setting
- Skillset: Comfortable with sedation, laceration repairs, and running codes; PALS certified
- Previous Affiliations: Supervising reference or Medical Director/Dept Chair reference from current or previous affiliations
Additional Considerations:
The successful candidate can expect temporary privileges for 3-4 months, after which they will need to demonstrate competency to continue working in this role.
