Theatre, Musical Theatre, Voice, and Piano Instructor

Join our dynamic team as a Theatre, Musical Theatre, Voice, and Piano Instructor, where you'll have the unique opportunity to inspire students across multiple disciplines in the performing arts. We are seeking an individual with a passion for theatre, music, and education, committed to enriching the lives of our community through diverse and engaging programs.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct group musical theatre classes covering voice, movement, and introductory choreography.
• Provide private voice lessons for students aged 11 to adult, nurturing individual talent and confidence.
• Instruct group theatre classes, focusing on foundational principles, movement, and character building.
• Teach beginning to intermediate piano (optional but preferred).
• Share technical theatre expertise, with the possibility of directing musical theatre and theatre productions.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of college education in a related field.
• Proven experience in teaching voice, musical theatre, and theatre.
• Strong ability to engage and inspire students of various age groups.

Additional Details:

• Location: Our state-of-the-art facility in Mansfield, Texas.
• Working Hours: Primarily 4:00 PM - 8:30 PM, 4 to 5 days a week, depending on skills and expertise.
• Employment Type: Hourly, part-time (not a contract job).

• Organization: MPM Conservatory | MPM Studio Theatre | Music Place Mansfield.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week

Schedule:

• After school
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Ability to Relocate:

• Mansfield, TX 76063: Relocate before starting work (Required)
