What are the responsibilities and job description for the Janitor position at Mpower Direct?
Overview
Mpower Direct is looking for a part time janitor to maintain the cleanliness of our office.
The janitor will work to ensure upkeep and safety of the office, under the supervision of the office manager.
The ideal candidate is comfortable as a team player who can take and follow directions and promote a safe work environment for all.
The candidate should also be comfortable in a role that is physically demanding as some duties may require lifting of 10 pounds or more, standing, sitting, bending and walking.
The position will also require minor handyman skills for small jobs around the office.
Responsibilities
Primary duties include, but are not limited to:
Trash removal
Restroom maintenance and cleaning
Use cleaning supplies and equipment to keep the interior and exterior of the office building looking clean and professional
Mandatory work schedule is Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 9-5pm.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a custodian or janitor highly preferred
Ability to lift 10lbs or more
