We are seeking a skilled Injection Mold Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating injection molding machines, ensuring the production of high-quality plastic parts. This role requires attention to detail, strong technical skills, and a commitment to maintaining safety and efficiency in the production environment.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate injection molding machines according to specifications.
- Monitor the production process, making adjustments as necessary to ensure quality standards are met.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation.
- Utilize basic math skills for measuring and calculating material requirements.
- Handle materials safely and efficiently throughout the production process.
- Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers to ensure product specifications are met.
- Collaborate with team members to fabricate components using various tools including CNC machines, lathes, and press brake machines.
- Assemble finished products and conduct quality checks on completed items.
- Operate forklifts for material handling as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Injection Mold Operator or in a similar manufacturing role is preferred.
- Familiarity with logic controllers and their operation is a plus.
- Strong understanding of materials handling techniques.
- Basic math skills are essential for accurate measurements and calculations.
- Experience with fabrication processes and machinery such as CNC, lathe, and press brake machines is desirable.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Must adhere to safety protocols at all times.
