We are seeking an experienced Controls Engineer with a strong background in the oil and gas industry to join our team. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and maintain control systems to optimize industrial processes, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and safety. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and traveling to client sites for system installation, troubleshooting, and support.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in electrical engineering, Control Systems, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in controls engineering, preferably in the oil and gas sector.
- Proficiency in programming PLCs (Rockwell, Siemens, Schneider Electric).
- Strong knowledge of HMI configuration and design for process control.
- Familiarity with field instrumentation, motor control centers (MCC), and variable frequency drives (VFDs).
- Hands-on experience with system troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning.
- Solid understanding of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, Ethernet/IP, and Profibus.
- Experience with safety systems, including SIL (Safety Integrity Level) and SIS (Safety Instrumented Systems).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
