PM who is really strong in Microsoft Project and Jira. Must be local and can commute to the office in Sterling, VA 2-3 times a week
Required Skills and Experience:
- Eight or more years of managing complex system implementation involving 3rd party vendors and multiple system integrations and internal development.
- Has strong agile and waterfall experience. Solid understanding of software development life cycle models as well as proficient knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment
- Expert in JIRA and Microsoft project
- Very much detail oriented.
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate and drive teams toward delivering and achieving goals
- Demonstrated ability to effectively and efficiently manage multiple high-priority tasks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to operate at strategic and tactical levels
- Ability to communicate effectively with business partners, developers, and end users
- Process analysis and systematic thinking
- Ability to prioritize among a large number of requirements
- Financial services experience strongly preferred
