MPS Group, Inc. is seeking a Safety Administrator to join our Corporate Safety Department at our Headquarters located in Farmington Hills, MI. The Safety Administrator provides comprehensive and safety-related support to the organization with emphasis on employee training enrollment, medical monitoring, data entry and tracking, as well as electronic record retention.
Responsibilities and Job Duties:
- Enter and maintain new hire and annual physical medical records.
- Schedule and/or enroll personnel in various online training courses, enter and maintain training records.
- Create and maintain employee electronic safety files.
- Maintain the MUST website roster: enroll/remove employees, generate drug screen COCs and readiness reports, monitor employee program compliance.
- Prepare PO requests, reconcile and approve departmental invoices.
- Participate in the company ISO program (Quality and Environmental Management System).
- Support safety department in all aspects, including ordering various safety-related learning materials, forms, booklets, etc.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
- Strong organizational skills: Able to manage, process, scan, file and maintain various reports and documents.
- Ability to maintain professional conduct and interpersonal skills across the company spectrum.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred or a combination of knowledge, skill and work experience in the field of records management.
- Safety credentials and ISO experience is preferred.
- This position is on site at Farmington Hills, Michigan, five days a week, 8 hours per day.
