What are the responsibilities and job description for the Booth Cleaner position at MPS Group?
MPS Group, Inc., is seeking multiple Booth Cleaners to join our team at the Ford Kansas City Assembly Plant (Claycomo) located in Kansas City, MO. These individuals will be responsible for janitorial activities, lifting, water blasting, preventative maintenance of cleaning equipment, inspection of waste storage areas and documentation as required. Scheduling subject to union seniority.

- Utilizes solvents, high pressure water blasters up to 40,000 psi.
- Performs manual scraping/chipping to clean walls, hoses, windows, grates, lights, robots, etc.
- Executes minor maintenance.
- Vacuums and wipe interior and exterior of equipment.
- Cleans building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming.
- Performs other specialized paint booth cleaning jobs as required.
- Performs lock out/tag out of equipment for safe entry into energized areas of the paint shop.
- Performs safe entry procedures into confined space areas needing to be cleaned.
- Performs general janitorial functions such as office and restroom cleaning.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Three years of relevant experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Ability to stand, kneel, and bend for long periods of time and reach within 6” to the ground.
- Ability to climb ladders and stairs without difficulty.
- Ability to lift, carrying and pulling equipment of various size, shape, and weight.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must be able to pass a drug test and physical.
