MPS Group, Inc. is seeking a Corporate Safety Coordinator to join our Corporate Safety Department at our Headquarters located in Farmington Hills, MI. The Safety Coordinator provides comprehensive and safety-related support to the organization with emphasis on employee medical monitoring, injury triage, W/C case management, DOT physicals and participating in the company’s ISO program.

- Manage new hire and annual drug screens and physicals and ensure employee medical recordkeeping.
- File and manage W/C claims and participate in insurance Loss Run meetings for open, litigated and settling W/C claims.
- Acting injury triage point of contact.
- Ensure CDL and Chauffeur drivers possess current Medical Examiner Certs.
- Generate MUST UDS COCs and reports and notify appropriate department of non-compliant drug screen issues.
- Prepare PO requests, reconcile and approve medical, DOT, drug screening and department-related invoices.
- Manage 3rd party drug testing consortium including billing reconciliation, setting up new clinics and managing division fit-for-duty protocols.
- Participate in the MPS Quality and Environmental Management System (ISO program), ensuring internal audits are conducted, the program remains relevant and effective, and represent the organization for annual TUV SUD ‘surveillance’ and ‘recert’ audits.
- Strong written and oral communication skills with proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
- Strong organizational skills: Able to manage, process, scan, file and maintain various reports and documents.
- Ability to maintain professional conduct and interpersonal skills across the company spectrum.
- At least three years’ experience and knowledge in occupational medicine or workers compensation and injury/illness case management.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in health, safety or related field.
- This is an onsite position at Farmington Hills, Michigan, five days a week, 8 hours per day.
