MPS Group, Inc., is seeking a Material Handler to join our team at the SMP Automotive Systems Facility located in Cottondale, AL. This individual will ensure safe and efficient removal, and handling of industrial material and/or waste in a manufacturing environment using a forklift.

- Operate the forklift, including conducting daily inspections and performing safe operations as trained and certified.
- Assist with documenting container inspections and waste pickup.
- Inspect waste storage areas and emergency equipment, taking corrective action to address deficiencies identified during the inspection.
- Adhere to and comply with the site-specific health and safety plan, host facility policies, and applicable government health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Use all assigned PPE and follow task instruction sheets.
- Take on other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- One-year experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must be able to pass a drug test.
- Forklift certification.
