Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Groundskeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for maintaining beautiful landscapes and ensuring that outdoor spaces are clean, safe, and inviting. This role involves a variety of tasks related to landscape maintenance, lawn care, and general groundskeeping duties. A successful Groundskeeper will demonstrate proficiency in using both power and hand tools while working independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform regular landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
- Operate power tools such as lawnmowers, trimmers, blowers, and other equipment safely and effectively.
- Clean outdoor areas by removing debris, litter, and other waste materials.
- Assist with seasonal landscaping projects including planting flowers, shrubs, and trees.
- Perform indoor maintenance including trash removal, painting and others tasks as needed.
- Complete tasks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or grounds keeping is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of lawn care techniques and plant care practices is a plus.
- Ability to operate various power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and aesthetics.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks in various weather conditions.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
