MPW Industrial Services, Inc is a leading provider of manufacturing support services to the global automotive industry. MPW Industrial Services, Inc continues to grow and is seeking a Full-time Cleaner in Georgetown, KY.
Position Description:
The Cleaner is responsible for the cleaning of all areas of the plant including but not limited to, work areas, equipment, shop, and water supply. The position requires the individual to be hands-on with regular participation in other activities of the team. The ideal candidate will be able to take ownership of projects and work with others to achieve desired results.
Essential Functions:
·Perform cleaning activities in a safe manner to ensure the safety of employees and customers.
·Follow procedures for cleaning equipment and equipment maintenance.
·Follow procedures for removing chemicals and disposing of chemicals properly.
·Follow procedures for maintaining clean water supply system.
·Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
·High School Diploma or GED preferred; or equivalent experience of (3) three to (5) years with a stable work history.
·Ability to handle multiple tasks and understand the importance of completing them effectively.
·Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
·Ability to identify problems and make decisions effectively.
·Ability to work overtime as needed.
·Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.'
