The purpose of this position is to support the production line to ensure workflow continues and avoids any line down time.
Essential Functions
- Transporting part to and from production line.
- Stack & unstack materials.
- Loading/unloading trucks.
- General housekeeping of work area.
- Performs other duties as directed.
- Responding to radio calls.
- Managing inventory levels of fixtures.
- Working as a team player to ensure customer satisfaction
- Follow OSHA guidelines and MPW safety standards
- Ability to follow directions as provided by supervisor.
- Reports any and all issues to the supervisor immediately
- Demonstrates a considerate, friendly, and constructive attitude toward fellow employees and the customer (HONDA).
- Customer Service: Proactively developing customer relationships by making efforts to listen and understand the customer (both internal and external); anticipating and providing solutions to customer needs; giving high priority to customer satisfaction.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to move up to 50 Lbs., with or without accommodation.
- Ability to maintain a consistent workload that involves physical manual labor.
- Ability to maintain alertness and fitness for duty.
- Ability to position oneself for work conducted in and around confined spaces.
- Ability to wear respirators in environments that may expose you to chemicals, fumes, etc.
- Ability to maintain workloads that may include travel to a variety of states for days or weeks, and daily timeframes that could exceed the typical 8-hour shift.
- High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred.
- Some High School education acceptable.
- Able to work safely and efficiently.
- Forklift, Receiving, and Computer knowledge a plus but not required.
- Understanding of mechanical concepts and applications.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Professional oral and written interpersonal communications.
