SFX is looking for high energy, positive people to join our awesome team as Production Supervisor. You will work in a safe and organized printing, inserting and metering production environment producing high-quality finished products.

Our Production Supervisor will:
- Supervises the daily/weekly workload, working with the Production Manager to ensure adequate coverage and disbursement of work across the team.
- Proactively communicates with team members (including direct reports, peers, and management) and provides honest, thoughtful, and constructive feedback.
- Quality adherence: Supervises the inspection process to monitor compliance within established quality standards.
- Quality Control - Reviews and signs off for work quality, accuracy, and completeness of work.
- Initiates the investigation of production issues and works with Production Manager to resolve and implement corrective and preventative actions.
- Training: Responsibility for on-boarding new hires. Continuous employee coaching and training. Identifies employee training gaps and executes development plan to resolve them. Determines cross-functional training limitations and expands the team's capabilities to reduce business risk.
- Be self-directed and continually look for ways to improve your own work and the work of your teammates.
The successful candidate will be:
- Experience in coaching and leading production teams.
- Experience in overseeing quality controls.
- Supervisory experience in a high-volume transactional environment.
- Excellent organization, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to train and oversee quality controls.
- Experienced in color printing and/or mail inserting equipment. (preferred)
- Confident with computers and technology, MS Office.
- Highly organized, with strong attention to detail.
- Reliable and have regular and consistent attendance.
- Able to manage significant workload while producing quality work in a fast-paced environment with interruptions and deadlines.
- Knowledgeable in basic math, fractions, and percentages.
- Safety conscious with the ability to perform job functions safely.
- Self-directed, continually looking for ways to improve work, eager to learn and grow.
- A team player with a cooperative spirit.
- Lean manufacturing experience. (plus)
Education and Experience:
- BA in Manufacturing or Business and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3 years of Supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.
Physical Requirements Include:
- Frequently lift 10-20 lbs. and up to 50 lbs. occasionally
- Ability to stand 10-12 hours
- Bend, push and pull carts
