Diesel Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Automotive/ Diesel Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience in Ford ,Chevy and Dodge truck repair, particularly with diesel engines. This role involves diagnosing issues, performing maintenance, and ensuring that all diesel-powered equipment operates efficiently. The Diesel Technician will also be responsible for providing excellent customer service while working on various heavy equipment.

Duties

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in diesel engines and related systems.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel vehicles and heavy maintenance tasks.
• Conduct soldering and electrical repairs as needed to ensure optimal performance of equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used during repairs.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their equipment needs.
• Collaborate with other technicians to complete complex repairs efficiently.

Qualifications

• Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in diesel engine repair preferred.
• Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is a plus.
• Ability to operate forklifts and use various power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues quickly.
• Experience in customer service, ensuring client satisfaction throughout the repair process.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during maintenance tasks.
• Previous experience as a service technician is mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.67 - $46.30 per hour

Expected hours: 40.00 per week
