The Maintenance Infrastructure Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of Reinhausen Manufacturing's physical infrastructure, ensuring its optimal functionality and reliability by managing repairs, preventative maintenance schedules, and coordinating upgrades across systems like building utilities, electrical systems, HVAC, and structural components, while adhering to safety regulations and budget constraints; often collaborating with other departments to identify and address maintenance needs.
Strategic Tasks
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs.
- Plan and oversee infrastructure projects to improve facility efficiency.
- Coordinate with other departments to align maintenance activities with organizational goals.
- Manage facility maintenance project management
- Ensure compliance with government-required facility systems inspections.
- Develop strategies for managing security systems and emergency response.
- Lead infrastructure related and construction projects
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Inspect and maintain mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PLCs, cranes, and forklifts.
- Oversee facility fire systems, fire panels, and fire suppression systems.
- Manage facility plumbing, electrical, structural, and HVAC systems.
- Coordinate with outside contractors to ensure job completion.
- Maintain and repair overhead crane systems and forklift mechanical and electrical components.
- Ensure 24-7 on-call availability for facility emergencies.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests and coordinate necessary repairs in a timely manner.
- Oversee Janitorial and lawn care contractors
- Ensure spare parts stock is properly maintained to minimize downtime of critical systems
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
- Spare parts management to ensure business continuity and minimize downtime
- Manage maintenance budgets, including tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Oversee facility maintenance, including janitorial and lawn care services.
- Manage security systems and government-required facility inspections.
- Budget management: Create and monitor maintenance budgets, ensuring cost-effective repairs and upgrades.
- Identify and implement cost-saving measures.
- Ensure efficient use of resources to stay within budget.
- Approve maintenance-related expenditures.
- Authorize emergency repairs and maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for maintenance services.
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Experience with PLCs, cranes, and forklifts.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
- Knowledge of computer-based maintenance software.
- Familiarity with facility fire systems, plumbing, electrical, structural, and HVAC systems.
- 10 years relevant work experience and 2-5 years supervisory experience required.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering technology, engineering, facilities management, or a relevant field is a plus.
- Certifications in relevant technical areas (e.g., PLC programming, crane operation) are a plus.
- Training in multi-craft maintenance skills, including electro-mechanical, hydraulics and pneumatics, blueprint reading, electronics, and welding.
- Proven experience in maintenance management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in maintenance management software and tools.
- Experience in facility maintenance project management.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP.
- Knowledge in AutoCad 2D Drawing preferred
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and safety.
- Ability to manage outside contractors and ensure job completion.
- Capability to handle emergency situations and provide timely resolutions.
