Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Route Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely while providing excellent customer service. This role requires strong driving skills, attention to detail.
Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles.
- Load and unload products from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Follow established routes and schedules while being flexible to accommodate changes as needed.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each route.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Route Driver, Delivery Driver, or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
