Overview:
Mr. Greens has proudly grown into one of the largest privately-owned produce distributors in Miami, Florida. With deliveries 365-days a year, 7-days a week, and multiple runs per day, Mr. Greens has set the gold standard for service. Mr. Greens serves a large variety of clients, including restaurants, hotels, country clubs, caterers, grocery stores, and retail outlets.

Responsibilities:
These responsibilities ensure that the ERP system is functioning optimally and supports the business operations efficiently, particularly in the fast-paced and perishable nature of produce distribution.
- System Configuration and Customization: Oversee the configuration and customization of the ERP system to ensure it meets the specific needs of the produce distribution business, such as inventory management, order processing, and delivery tracking.
- Data Integration: Manage the integration of ERP with other business systems (CRM, accounting, warehouse management) to streamline operations and ensure seamless data flow across different departments.
- Inventory Management: Ensure accurate tracking of inventory levels, including the monitoring of perishability, stock rotations, and product expiration dates. Maintain real-time data on stock movements, order statuses, and supply chain disruptions.
- User Access and Security: Administer user roles and permissions to ensure appropriate access levels for employees based on their roles. Implement security measures to safeguard sensitive business data, including financial information and customer orders.
- Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support to ERP users, resolve system issues, and troubleshoot system errors. Work with IT teams or vendors to resolve complex technical problems promptly.
- Reporting and Analytics: Generate and maintain custom reports and dashboards that help management make data-driven decisions. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order fulfillment times, inventory turnover, and supplier performance.
- System Maintenance and Updates: Regularly update the ERP system to incorporate new features, fix bugs, and improve functionality. Ensure the system is always running smoothly, with minimal downtime or disruption to business operations.
- Training and Documentation: Train end-users on ERP system functionalities, best practices, and updates. Develop user manuals and documentation to help employees effectively navigate the system and comply with operational procedures.
Requirements:
- Experience with ERP Systems: A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience working with ERP systems, preferably in the produce or distribution industry, is essential. Familiarity with major ERP platforms like SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or specialized distribution ERP software is highly preferred.
- Understanding of Supply Chain and Distribution Processes: Knowledge of supply chain management, inventory control, and distribution logistics is crucial. The administrator should understand the unique needs of a produce distribution business, including perishability management, order fulfillment, and vendor coordination.
- Technical Proficiency: A solid understanding of the technical aspects of the ERP system, including database management, system configuration, troubleshooting, and integration with other business tools (CRM, warehouse management systems).
- Data Analysis and Reporting Skills: Ability to generate, analyze, and interpret business reports from the ERP system. Proficiency with reporting tools, such as SQL, Excel, or built-in ERP reporting features, is necessary to create meaningful insights for management.
- Project Management and Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills to manage ERP system upgrades, integration projects, and user training sessions. The administrator should be able to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and collaborate with other departments.
- Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting: Ability: Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently. The administrator should be adept at identifying problems within the system, performing root cause analysis, and working to implement effective solutions.
- Attention to Detail: Given the complexities of the produce industry such as managing expiry dates, lot tracking, and quality control attention to detail is critical to ensure accurate data entry, reporting, and system operations
- Communication and Training Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to work with various departments, vendors, and users. The administrator should be able to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users and provide training to ensure the ERP system is used effectively across the organization.
