Responsibilities
- Perform general carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and painting tasks
- Install, repair, and maintain commercial fixtures and equipment
- Conduct inspections and identify maintenance needs
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with commercial systems and equipment
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on schedule
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain professional relationships with clients
- Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations during all tasks
- Write, present, and sell your own estimates
Requirements
- Proven experience as a handyman in a commercial setting
- Strong understanding of various construction tools and equipment
- Knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and painting techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Valid driver's license
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions
- Live within Northern Virginia area (preferably within our service territory)
