Nanny/Housekeeper

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Babysitter/Nanny to provide exceptional care for children in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with children aged 6 years and 3-year-olds, demonstrating a strong ability to engage children in educational activities while ensuring their safety and well-being. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage daily routines, support developmental milestones, and foster a positive atmosphere for children.

Duties

• Provide attentive and loving care for children, including infants and toddlers.
• Engage children in age-appropriate educational activities to promote learning and development.
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks that cater to dietary restrictions as needed.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment, ensuring all areas are child-friendly and accessible.
• Assist with daily routines, such as bathing, dressing, and changing diapers, for younger children.
• Supervise playtime both indoors and outdoors, ensuring safety at all times.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's activities, behavior, and any concerns.
• Provide support for children with disabilities or special needs as required.

Experience

• Previous experience in toddler care, daycare settings, or as a nanny is preferred.
• Familiarity with first aid practices is highly desirable.

• Skills in caregiving include patience, creativity, and the ability to educate through play and sports
• Cooking skills to prepare healthy meals for children are an asset.
• A background in nannying or similar roles that demonstrate reliability and commitment to child care.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 per week
