Pharmacy Cashier/ delivery rx

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while efficiently handling transactions. This position requires a strong focus on patient care and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, particularly in settings related to acute care and pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently at the register.
• Provide excellent patient service by addressing inquiries and assisting with medication administration as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring compliance with aseptic technique standards.
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and healthcare staff to support patient care initiatives, including IV infusion preparations.
• Assist in inventory management by restocking shelves and monitoring product availability.
• Uphold all safety and health regulations while interacting with patients and handling medications.
• Engage with customers to promote services, ensuring a positive shopping experience.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a cashier or in a related customer service role is preferred.
• Knowledge of acute care settings, hospital environments, or pharmacy operations is an advantage.
• Familiarity with patient care protocols and medication administration processes.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle transactions accurately.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
• Commitment to providing high-quality service and support within the healthcare framework.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
